M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Bouve College of Health Sciences)

The graduate certificate in experimental biotechnology has been designed in response to a need in the biotechnology industry for individuals without a biotechnology background to obtain a strong foundation in lab-based, hands-on, biotechnology skills. Individuals, particularly those who are working in fields other than biotechnology, will acquire competency and learn new practical lab skills enabling them to increase productivity and transition into more biotechnology-related fields.

The Master of Science in Biomedical Science is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on the cross-disciplinary integration of human pathobiology with drug action, invention, and clinical utility.

M.S. in Medicinal Chemistry (Bouve College of Health Sciences)

The Master of Science in Medicinal Chemistry program, offered by the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, develops students’ knowledge in the design, synthesis and the mechanisms of action of novel biologically active compounds using modern biochemical, biophysical, and pharmacological approaches. Graduates of the program will also be well prepared to enter related PhD programs at the University.
